Lago Guajataca

25 minutes from the Hacienda El Jibarito

Lake named El lago Guajataca is localized between the munincipalities of San Sebastian, Quebradilla and Isabela. There are houses with boats along the edge of the river in private properties. This great lake has a depth of 37 meters and 372 meters long, It has been converted into a water reserve.

In this lake temperatures are 10 degrees cooler than other areas on the Island, It's a great place to have a pick nick and spend the day, there are private fishing clubs like "Club Lobina of Lares", and "Back Lash Club".

A good place to visit for a day of enjoyment is "Vista del Lago" a local dance salon it has a spectacular scenery.
